4 Cups a Day Lowers Mortality Rate by 64%
Good news to all you coffee lovers. We all know that coffee is good for us and a recent study reconfirms it. This new study has shown that four cups of coffee a day can slash a persons chance of early death by almost two thirds. The research was done on 20,000 middle-aged men and women over an average of 10 years and found that those who drank coffee on a regular basis had mortality rates almost two thirds lower. There have been many studies on the benefits of coffee, many that we have talked about here, from preventing cancer to building stronger DNA, but this new study suggests that it could reduce the chance of death from all causes by as much as two thirds.
The study showed that for every extra two cups of coffee a person drank they experienced a 22% drop in mortality and those who enjoyed 4 cups of coffee had a 64% lower death risk when compared to those that never or rarely consumed this wonderful dark elixir.
